Browser tools and AI tools

Browser-only utilities, including the Password Checker and JSON Converter, process their inputs on your device. AI-powered tools send the text and form details you submit to our backend and Google Gemini to generate a result. Do not submit passwords, access keys, patient identifiers, or other information you are not authorized to share with an AI service.

CyberScryb does not intentionally save AI prompts or results in our application database, cache AI responses at the edge, or use them to train our own models. Service providers may process or retain data under their policies and our service configuration. We do not promise immediate deletion by those providers. Drafts saved on your device

Some tools automatically save drafts, form details, and preferences in your browser's local storage. Life-tool drafts expire when restored after 14 days; other saved preferences may remain until you clear them. Use a tool's clear/reset control or clear this site's browser storage to remove saved data. On a shared device, clear drafts when you finish. Local drafts do not constitute a server-side user account.

Usage limits and operational analytics

We use hashed IP identifiers and daily usage counters to enforce shared AI limits. The quota resets daily; this is not a guarantee that stored counters are deleted at reset. Hosting and AI providers may log requests, IP addresses, errors, and service activity. Our backend may collect operational events, including tool type, input-length range, errors, and hashed visitor identifiers, using Firebase and PostHog when configured. We do not intentionally include prompt text in these analytics events.

Optional analytics and advertising

Google Analytics and Google AdSense load only after you accept optional analytics and advertising cookies. Declining does not change access to tools. You can change your choice using Privacy preferences in the footer. When you withdraw consent, the page reloads to stop previously loaded optional scripts. Cookies already stored can also be removed through your browser settings.

Google Analytics measures visits and tool usage. Google AdSense may use cookies for advertising and personalization. See how Google uses partner-site data and Google's advertising controls. Your consent choice is saved locally; when browser storage is unavailable it applies only to the current page.

Voluntary email subscriptions

If you voluntarily subscribe, we store your email address, subscription date, and signup source and may send them to our newsletter provider, Substack. Subscribing does not unlock tools or increase limits. Subscription information remains until you request removal or unsubscribe through the newsletter. We do not publicly expose whether an arbitrary email address is subscribed.

Other service providers

Firebase hosts our site and backend. Cloudflare may proxy requests but our AI Worker does not cache prompts or results. Google Fonts supplies web fonts. These providers may receive connection metadata. See Cloudflare's privacy policy, PostHog's privacy policy, and Substack's privacy policy.

Your choices and requests

You can decline optional cookies, clear local drafts and site storage, and unsubscribe from emails. For questions, access requests, or removal requests, contact us through our contact page. We may need to verify ownership before disclosing or removing subscription information.

Children, external links, and policy updates

The site is not directed to children under 13. External sites have their own privacy policies. We update this policy when our processing changes and revise the date above.
